In a persistent quest for the best possible sound quality in a vehicle, testing component selections and positions is the name of the game.
This truck started out having Hybrid Audio Legatia 6 inch midbass/midrange drivers mounted to the door with custom adaptors that angled them toward the listener while remaining behind the grille. The Legatia tweeters were mounted in the corner of custom built grilles that put them at a perfect listening angle. The tweeters were soon upgraded to the Legatia Special Edition tweeter and moved up to the sail panels where a custom speaker pod was built to hold them at just the right angle. This truck sounds amazing, but it will definitely see more changes!
I have this same truck. Where can I purchase the speaker gilles in these photos? I have oval 5×7 speakers installed and they are not allowing window to go all the way down. I want to cut out the plastic grille (which is actually part of the door panel and add somenthing like your picture shows. Please let me know at:

Unfortunately, these are custom made pieces and are not available for sale, but we appreciate the compliment! You can use a simple spacer to gain the clearance you need for your window however.
