Not just for the golf course anymore!
Once used only to carry players and their clubs around the golf course, carts like this one from Evolution that we just upgraded are now being used to run neighborhood errands, as a fun joyride for the kids and even to lead the holiday light parade… as was the case with this one! To facilitate that last point, we added a 12 volt DC to 110 volt AC inverter underneath the seat. But that is the least of what we did to make this cart the leader of the neighborhood pack!
Audio for all!
This particular golf cart, made by Evolution Electric Vehicles, is gaining a lot of popularity because of it’s quality design and affordable price. However, the “audio package” that comes with it leaves quite a lot to be desired! Luckily for the owner of this one, and anybody else who has found themselves less than impressed with the sound of theirs, we designed an incredible sound upgrade that maintains all storage space, can withstand the elements AND integrates WITH the factory radio! That’s right, no more of that awkward hand off between the factory radio and the bluetooth sound bar people have been installing on the back. Thanks to our advanced knowledge of audio systems and electrical wiring, as well as high quality products from Wet Sounds and Rockford Fosgate, this cart is rockin and yours can be too!
Can’t forget the creature comforts!
Given that these vehicles are still being designed with golfers in mind, and the fact that most golfing is done during the day, there are no dome lights to help you see at night. No problem at all! We do all kinds of lighting for all kinds of applications ranging from roadside work purposes to extreme off roading to cool accent lighting, so adding some dome lights was right up our alley. For this task we used a set of 4 light pods from Rigid Industries and a 3 way switch to allow the user to turn on only the front, the front and the rear or have them all off and because they are the low power lights, they provide just enough light without being too bright.
