The owner of this vehicle has a long commute to work everyday and, although this sporty little car makes it kind of fun, he knew that there is nothing like a killer sound system to really unwind on his way home from a long day! He came to Handcrafted Car Audio because he knows that we are the experts in integrating an awesome new sound system with the vehicle’s factory radio.
For this system, we chose one of our most popular packages featuring Hertz Hi Energy speakers in the front doors, a Hertz 8″ subwoofer in a custom built and tuned enclosure in the back and we ran it all off of an Arc Audio KS125.4mini amplifier! This tiny little amplifier was able to tuck away under the floor in the trunk while still delivering 80 watts to each front speaker and 240 watts to the 8″ subwoofer. An 8″ subwoofer? Isn’t that too small you ask? Well, it is all about using the proper equipment for the proper application and having the knowledge to build the proper enclosure, which we do! Lets just say that, when this customer picked up the vehicle, he thought that we had upgraded him to a 10″ subwoofer!

I want one of these boxes! Actually the same set up would be killer, looking to upgrade the system in my mk6 gti and want the same sub enclosure and sub, but I want to upgrade the front and rear speakers as well. If you could send me prices and info and what you think would sound best and last. Thank you and nice work, looks very good clean and simple!

i am located in Philadelphia, PA lol. looking for roughly the same set up like with the amp being hidden and the sub in the same spot, if you are able to remake that box that would be great

Ah, that would make it rather difficult for you to come down wouldn’t it?! Let me see what I can do for you.
