Usually we find ways to integrate with factory radios instead of replacing them, but when I saw this unit at SEMA last year, I just knew that I wanted to offer it to my customers! When they were designing this unit, Clarion took some pretty major, and obvious cues from the leading segment in consumer electronics, smartphones. Most of this unit’s features are controlled by the same familiar touch and swipe type of motion that you find on modern smartphones. It also features the same customizable home screens, live tiles like on a Windows 7 phone and capacitive touch buttons that sense your finger’s presence ass opposed to actually clicking a button. This unit is features built in Nav, Bluetooth, DVD/CD and iPod functionality, but can be expanded to include Satellite radio, HD Radio, Back-up camera and more.
