Many of our clients choose to upgrade their vehicles in stages with us. Whether it be because of scheduling or time constraints or for the purposes of flexibility in long term system planning, we love this idea because it allows us to extend the experience of upgrading your vehicle over a longer period of time. This particular vehicle just finished up Stage 3 of 4, so we figured that now would be a good time to show you all what we have done with this one.
This vehicle came with the factory Bose sound system which consists of an amplifier, a bunch of speakers and a small subwoofer. Now, some people might say that this is good enough, but our clients aren’t generally the type to be happy with good enough! So, we replaced his factory radio with a new unit from Pioneer that adds GPS navigation, bluetooth connectivity, iPod connectivity, DVD player and more. We took the audio signal from that unit and ran it through an Audison Bit Ten processor which allows us to totally customize the sound in the vehicle in ways Bose never dreamed of! From there, the audio signal goes to the Audison Voce 5.1k 5 channel amplifier which amplifies the signal and sends it on out to the speakers. Now, this amplifier is not to be taken lightly, this is a one of a kind! This amplifier houses 3 separate amplifier topologies, class A for the tweeters, class A/B for the midrange speakers and class D for the subwoofer. This means that we get superior sound quality and power where each element is needed all in one chassis! For speakers, we chose the Audison Voce 6 1/2″ component set for the fronts and an Audison Voce 10″ subwoofer to fill in the low end. This thing is a concert on wheels, check out the pictures below!
