Arc Audio just released a new version of the popular KS125.2mini (pictured left) with one major changed. This new model incorporates the BX2 processor. Think of this as Bass Boost, found on many amplifiers, without the added demand on the speakers. Instead of actually boosting bass notes, this amp boosts a harmonic of the note and, with some clever processing, tricks your ears into thinking they’re hearing more bass. This is the same technology that allows those little tiny speakers in your iPod’s headphones to sound like they have bass. Pretty cool right? This tiny 2 channel amp can deliver 70 watts to your front speakers or 250 watts to a single sub and with the BX2 add-on, it will sound like more power than that!
